Fourteen rooms across five floors, each named for the view it frames and finished in warm terracotta-cream tones that respond to the season.
Each of the fourteen standard rooms at Novaxpulse measures between twenty-two and twenty-eight square metres — generous for a city-centre boutique hotel. The design language is consistent throughout: hand-trowelled terracotta plaster on one feature wall, cream linen bedding from a supplier in San Sebastián, oak flooring sourced from a cooperative in Álava. Bathrooms are finished in honed limestone with rainfall showers; four rooms on the fourth and fifth floors also have a freestanding bath positioned directly in front of the window. Every room includes a Nespresso machine, a curated selection of Basque-language and English-language books, and a printed map of our recommended walks within twenty minutes of the hotel. Wi-Fi is fast and unthrottled. Room service is available from Txoko's kitchen between 07:00 and 23:00. We do not offer a minibar — instead, a small wine and cheese tray can be requested at any hour at no markup.
Six rooms on the upper floors look directly toward the river bend and, on clear days, toward the Urkiola mountain range beyond the city. Morning light enters from the east; the rooms stay warm through the afternoon without direct midday sun.
Five rooms overlook the canopy of Doña Casilda park, Bilbao's main green lung. The view is quieter and greener than the upper floors and particularly popular with guests who prefer to sleep without blackout curtains.
Three rooms on the first floor face the interior courtyard, a planted terracotta-tiled space that is the quietest part of the building. Ideal for light-sensitive sleepers or those arriving for a long stay and wanting a calmer orientation.
All rates include a continental breakfast served in the Txoko dining room between 07:30 and 10:30, with an extended weekend service until 11:30. The breakfast menu rotates weekly and includes Basque cheeses, house-made pastries, and seasonal fruit. Rates do not include tourist tax (currently €2,25 per person per night in Bizkaia), payable at check-out. We do not operate a car park but maintain a reserved arrangement with a covered car park two minutes' walk away; we are happy to provide the address and current rates on request. Pets are welcome in courtyard rooms with prior notice; a small daily supplement applies. We are unable to accommodate bookings of more than eight rooms simultaneously — for groups larger than eight, the contact team will be glad to suggest alternatives nearby.
